Comparison Email Intel vs LeadMagic
Email Intel vs LeadMagic
The closest competitor on method — both of us infer rather than send. The difference is what we show you about the inference.
A fast, low-priced catch-all resolver combining SMTP behaviour, server fingerprints, historical data and delivery outcomes.
Where the two approaches actually differ
| Dimension | Email Intel | LeadMagic |
|---|---|---|
| Method | Public signals only. No test sends, no SMTP probing of the target mailbox as the deciding signal. | Multi-signal: SMTP behaviour, server fingerprints, historical data and delivery outcomes, per LeadMagic's published description. |
| Response shape | Explicit verdict plus confidence, the individual signals that produced it, and the date each was observed. | Verdict-oriented response. |
| Published price | $0.001–0.005 per lookup depending on tier. | $0.0005 per lookup, per published pricing — cheaper than us. |
| Published speed | Sub-second. | Sub-300ms, per LeadMagic's published figure. |
We are not the right answer for everyone.
LeadMagic publishes a lower per-lookup price and sub-300ms response times. If you are resolving at very high volume and want the cheapest inference available, that is a real advantage.
Where we fit instead: Teams who need to defend a suppression decision to someone else — a client, a compliance reviewer, a RevOps lead — and therefore need the evidence and its date, not just a verdict.
Why there is no accuracy number on this page.
We do not publish a head-to-head accuracy comparison. Our historical benchmark was withdrawn from marketing use because its labels were third-party probabilistic labels rather than observed delivery outcomes. A replacement measured on real customer bounce outcomes is in progress. Until it reports, we compare on method — which you can verify today — and not on accuracy.
If you are evaluating vendors, the useful question is not whose number is bigger — it is whose number you can reproduce. Ask any vendor, us included, what the ground truth was, who labelled it, and whether the labels came from observed delivery outcomes or from another tool's guess.
